I was never a huge meat eater so when I switched it wasn't too difficult. I found I had loads of energy once my body settled with it and my overal health seemed a lot better from it. My only advice is you make sure you do your research into the nutrition. Also, I found that the only time I craved meat was when I was under on protein, so make sure you get your healthy plant protein in.

I'm vegetarian but I eat fish(my mum doesnt want me togo without meaty proteins), and I've been like this my whole life. I would say that becoming vegetarian can be very good for you in the long run (makes you a lot less ikely to get cancer etc.) but it's quite common to not get enough iron in your diet, bevause meat is most peoples main supply of iron. So just make sure you eat lots of spinach!

do it! i am vegan because i am very opposed to exploiting or hurting animals. it is much healthier, and is a very kind way of living. it isn'r hard at all, you get used to it after a few weeks.

I'm vegetarian.. I lost abotu 5 pounds because of it.. and it's my excuse a lot not to eat because almost everything has an animal product in it. Also I don't like the thought of eating old dead animals anyways lol.

Goin vegan??...heck ya! I live in the beef capitol of the world.... and I hate meat. {{snicker...snicker}}... Seriously though, I've seen the shows on how the cattle are processed...It's not a pretty sight...and I've seen the momma cows in the pasture with their little calves one day, and the next, all the calves are gone...zzzziiippp! They just disappear, and this goes on... year after year...
And then there's the shows on TV about how we (as a society, are over fishing, over hunting, over everything!)
So, now I don't eat fish. Guess I'll just stick with my protein shakes...they taste better anyway! LOL

my view of healthy eating is that humans should eat meat about twice a week. monkeys occasionally eat meat. BUT cows milk is for calve, humans shouldn't eat dairy.

Hey! Well I am 17 now and I have been vegetarian for 9 years xD I find it very easy to be veggy though, I recommend you read "Skinny Bitch" its not about dieting dont worry, it is about eating heathyly and its really good, insph I think ired me to think about becoming vegan! Tbh though I think that its partly due to being a veggy for so long I have an ed because it tought me how to hate food! I dont think I could eat meat now, especially not red meat.. EEEEEEEEEEEEEwwwwwww yuck!
Its up to you good luck xoxoxoxoxoxoxox

i know this was written ages ago but,, im a vegetarian have been since i was born and you cant be a vegetarian if your going to eat seafood. thats ridiculous that like saying your going to be a vegan but still drink milk. and no being vege doesnt really help you lose weight that much i wouldnt of thought.

LOOOOVED meat as a child, but always wanted to be a vegetarian... When I was 12 I decided I'd do it
Even now I remember meat tasting good, but when I decide something, nothing really gets in the way and stops me (which is probably why I get sooo disappointing when I don't accomplish a goal) . Any who, a vegetarian diet isn't so hard, I think it'd be a good idea, cuts out a lot of cals too, cause meat has a bunch
