i think ralationships can be compared to carrying a corpse while swimming in the ocean. both of you are carrying it. its easy at first. but after a while its pointless because ... its dead. and is just dead weight. and then after a while its just you holding onto the corpse.your trying to stay above the water. fighting the current... all the while, your partner has already left and swam ashore. and now your on your own. drowning. trying to hold onto this dead body thats just dragging you down. then after a while of nearly dieing you just let go of it... you realize its not worth saving because its dead. and its been dead for basically the entire time.
