This page used to have Curvspo on it. Somehow, it's all gone...
I'm not quite sure how it happened or why, but a lot of members have asked for it to come back. The problem is, I'm lacking the original content that was here before.
If you have something to contribute, please send it along. I would love to add it to this page and make it a part of the site.
What is Curvspiration?
Eating disorders come in all shapes and sizes. We've heard this said before. And curvspiration is for those who have an ideal that they want to meet and maintain which is not what would be considered classically "thin."
Isn't that called "normal?" you might ask.
Eating disorders are not what you see. They are something internal. Those who suffer from eating disorders not only have different reasons, but have different wants, struggles, and desires.
This is for those who see beauty in someone who is not considered thin by society, and considered beautiful, especially as a result of "curves."
(It sucks having to use so many quotes to define subjective things)
Beauty and imagines of beauty have changed throughout the ages. Our image of beauty is different in this culture than it is from another culture, and though similarities exist, the challenge of human perspective is that we all see the world through our own lense, and define it in our own way.
Curvspiration is for those who view beauty as a body with curves, or those who want to find comfort ror beauty in a body that many may consider "plus size."
