Something that helps me when I’m about to binge:

Brush your teeth! Preferably with mint toothpaste.

It makes all food taste horrrrrrible, and makes me not want to soil my nice, shiny teeth.

occasionally i really want to binge out on cheesy pasta, what i’ve found works to avoid eating a entire box of KD is to buy the cheese sauce in bulk ( you scoop it out of a barrell into a plastic baggie so you can pick how much you want) them I got loose pasta and when I’m really craving it I make the noodles in a one serving size and then I make the cheese sauce according to the size and don’t have to deal with a open package of KD that demands to be eaten all at once.

Wow! Thanks for sharing this! Most of the things I already do, but it’s nice to have them all in the same list. It’s so easy to forget, or just ignore everything, when you’re alone in your kitchen, and you feel that urge to binge coming…

Thank you everyone for these strategies. If only I could apply them!

My problem is, I need to take a breath and realize what is happening at that precise moment. When I binge, I’m in ANOTHER WORLD. The food is everything and everything is the food.

When this happens, I need to consciously go to a different place in order to pass through the madness. NOT EASY! Anyone relate?

i know what you mean by ANOTHER WORLD. i have to stop myself and take a minute to realize what im about to eat or how much i actually just consumed. As soon as i start its so hard to stop the binge. Anyways…i just try to tell myself i dont need this binge. its just going to set me back and ruin all my progress.

These are all so good! I usually drink tea or lemon water when I want to binge, but I’ve enver even thought to try a lot of these, thank you so much! :)

I tend to eat when I just don’t give a crap and lucky binged too much my binges are getting larger no excuse just didn’t want to stop. Of course I am so bloated not even funny. I don’t purge so I just have to deal with this
