Thin - is it in making food our enemy?

As you all know, it has been too hard to manage the Pic of the Week and allowing the community to vote on it while maintaining anything else on the site. So, from here on out, I will be picking the Pic of the Week (as many of you suggested in email).

Like it? Hate it? Let me know! Things can change, and they often do.

This week, I have a few favorites. So, Pic(k)s of the Week.

This weeks theme is My Life
We all walk our own city street, or sit on the grass in our very own lonely park;
Sit on a curb outside our home, staring up at the sky and wondering why in a world so full of people, we can still feel so all alone.

Everyone seems to distant sometimes; not understanding me or us or why. Sometimes, we just don't seem to understand it ourselves, and yet somehow found a place where others seem to want to try.

Even in a crowd, we can feel so lonely; but there is one constant that we all do share.
That as we look up at the sky or stars, that there are one or two or fifty looking up, just like "me."

Some of them, I know their faces. Some of them, just about their empty places. But no matter where we are, and no matter how alone we feel, there is always this place called PrettyThin that we know is real. And in this place we can find a home; where people understand or at least hope to and want to and care.

This weeks Pic of the Week is My Life.
Share a little corner of your world where you feel all alone. If we put them all together, we find ourselves in a different world, and different home.

If you could share yourself and your world in one image, what would that image be? What would My Life look like? Sometimes happy, sometimes sad, maybe with friends, and maybe alone. What would it be?

This picture was to be partof the hall of fame, but it made it to the homepage as my favorite.

These are all picked for different reasons. Some because of the happiness in the picture, some because of the artistic quality, some for having a cute theme and some for being great shots of beauty. Starting next week, you will vote for the best picture. This week, I just had some fun and created this Hall of Fame.

I think that this image shows true beauty. It's about being happy in the moment, and I think that is the most beautiful thing of all.

I think that this is a beautiful image because of the simplicity. She is not straining to define her body; she is showing the beautify of it, as it is.

This was the first picture of the week. Great lighting, great focus, great pose.

This is our very first pic of the Week!
Beautiful lighting. Beautiful form. And what always catches my eye is the small scar on the hip that you can barely see...does she release her pain through that as well?
