This section is about using PrettyThin, but there are some frequently asked questions specifically to posting content or to your membership that I keep getting asked. You will find answers to these in the FAQ section.
For general questions about using PrettyThin that are not really relating to posting or to your account, read on.
Anyone can read what's on PrettyThin, but to use this site fully, you should become a member. Membership is free, and will allow you to contribute to the forum, upload your own pictures, add things to the diary, upload your own poetry and stories, as well as receive updates about the site.
Just click Register in the top right of this site to become a member. All you need is an email account, because all memberships are verified.
There are girls on this site. There are girls in underwear on this site. Wherever you see girls, especially girls in their underwear, you will find creepy guys.
You never know who anyone really is online, so my recommendation is to always maintain your personal privacy. Don't share email addresses, MSN or other imstant messengers, and definitely NEVER give you any personal information such as your address or phone number.
Creeps have been found on this site, and so long as you stay on this site and use this site as your channel of communication, you're going to be safe. This is not a warning about this site alone; this is a warning about the internet.
Read more about things that can happen, and also be aware of our banned members section.
As a member of this site, you can upload your own pictures to the Members Photos section, as well as the Thinspo, Bitchspo, Scenespo, and other section as they arise.
Just click on any of the links that have an album in it, and so long as you are logged onto your account at PrettyThin, you can click the Add Photos button at the top and add your own images.
When adding an album, pic a category that already exists and add it to that. New categories created by members are generally deleted (but the pictures kept) to prevent the list of categories from growing out of control.
There is a link called Your Thoughts near the top of the Navigation on the left. It's a blog, which means not only can you add things to it, but people can comment on the things that you write.
There are categories in the blog just like in the Members Photos section. If you're posting a story or blog, just make sure to select the right category so it can be found easily by others looking for it.
If you no longer want to be a member of this site, just log onto your account at PrettyThin and click Edit Profile. Next, click the Edit Account tab and remove the check next to PrettyThin. You will no longer be a member of this site.
This is also how you would stop receiving emails from this site.
Decide to come back? Just come back and click Sign In. It will allow you to join again.
