PrettyThin

The worlds largest eating disorder community and forum

What is PrettyThin all about?

PrettyThin has gone through a lot of changes over the years. It has evolved as the community has grown, and now offers a community for individuals with eating disorders where one did not exist before.

In the beginning, PrettyThin was no more than a Pro-Ana journal. Now, it is a place for people to express themselves among others who understand their struggle or have similar questions. Not everyone is here for the same reason, which is why you will see things on PrettyThin that run the spectrum. Each member is unique, and though they share a commonality, they are individuals and all have their own experience and reality to offer.

What was PrettyThin in the past? Here is one older archive.
You should also take a look at the stories of anorexia and bulimia found on the site, as well as the many homepages which PrettyThin has published over the years.

PrettyThin is the worlds largest community for eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, ENDOS, and associated symptoms. This is as much a place for someone who struggles with eating on the other site of the spectrum, such as binging.

PrettyThins is NOT a diet website, nor does it promote anorexia or any other eating disorder.

What PrettyThin hopes to always be is a place that offers value for its members, and works to enhance their lives by giving them an opportunity to influence one another in a positive manner, and help guide their decisions to a healthy physical and mental lifestyle.

PrettyThin can be found on Facebook as well as on Twitter. Today, it is not certain what role these networks will have on the community, but I'm certain that the community will bring value through the channels as well.

Be healthy. Be real. And stay beautiful, just as you are.
