This site will always exist; this community will always be together. At least that is our hope. Just like any other community, decisions must be made, and no one person in this community has more right to the things that take place than any other. So, this section is new (October 6, 2009) to allow you, the members of PrettyThin, to decide what happens. Have a suggestion for a poll that we should take? You know where to find me :-)

There have been some suggestions - some prompted by discussions with others and some that came directly to me - that I should take on PrettyThin as a full-time job. For those of you who know, I am unemployed right now and traveling. I am not in any hurry to find a job, and had not planned on doing it for another 6 months or more. When I do, I was thinking of teaching English for a while in Southeast Asia somewhere, or picking grapes for fun in Australia. But I think there can be a very positive and impactful future through involvement in PrettyThin that I will not be able to see take shape unless I take this site seriously. The question is, is it needed, is it wanted or desired at all, and is it the right thing to do?

Involvement would mean more involvement on the site and in the community. It would mean writing more, and doing a lot more research into the field. It would mean spending more time replying to emails and messages (which for those of you who have been writing know I am always delayed in replying back). It would mean taking this on as fully as possible and giving of myself as much as I can in hopes of making a positive impact in the lives of all those within this community, and possibly other communities such as PrettyAlone.

I want your opinions. Please vote here, but also write me if you would like to expand on your vote. The more you give me, the easier this decision will be to make.

What this would also mean is that donations would start going to me, as income, and that I would start claiming taxes on it and treating it as a real job.

I just wrote this on the homepage, and have read what people have written about this in the forum. Now, to the simple numbers.

What would this mean? Well, you'de be able to find me on Facebook. You would be able to find my personal website from there. You would know where I will be traveling to as I make my way around the world soon.

Do you feel that I should give interviews about this site, and more so, about the topic of this site? I personally think it will do more good in the world than any harm for this site, but this is your community. What do you think?

I finally found out what's causing all the problems with the albums. PrettySimply, there are too many! We have over 2200 albums with thinspiration, scenspo, pictures of My Life and beauty and more. well, that's a HUGE amount of albums. I can make it so that pictures can be uploaded again, but this means I have to delete a ton of old albums; maybe the first 500 or so.

Here is the question. How do you feel if rather than deleting them I create more pages for each category. The pages will be protected just like the album is so that only members can get on it. This would mean more pages for each category, like more thinspo pages.

Because this is going to cost a ton more, I would have to put ads on those pages, but that's nothing new.

I put a minimum at $10 for two reasons: (1)it was the minimum suggested in the past, and (2) it seems reasonable considering the effort of making and posting, etc.
